Sticks and Leaves

Now that Autumn is officially here, I know that many of you are picking up sticks and raking leaves. These earrings would be perfect for all of this season's yard labor. The antique copper earwire sets the stage for the amber sticks and orange leaf with its grooved surface. These are affordable on any budget at only $5.

Additonal items from Autumn Line

Once again my life as an attorney has kept me too busy to post any additional pieces from my autumn line. It is unbelievable the amount of work that can pile up while you are at a two-day seminar (training required to maintain my ability to practice law and to continue to represent children in custody battles).

The weekend will be begin with a gig for my band (screw city saints) so I hope to be able to post my next piece in my Autumn line very soon.

Autumn Harvest with a hint of green necklace

As promised, the first necklace in my Autumn collection. I wanted to have the lampwork bead as the focus of the necklace with its swirls invoking the image of blowing leaves on a crisp October morning. I wanted to emphasis its golden, red, and orange hues. The red agate donuts separate the piece in distinct sections and add an interesting focal point. The flat oval (golden quartzite), round (red agate), and twisting oval (red aventurine) shapes visually compliment the striking colors of the beads. Finishing touches were the antiqued copper crimp beads and copper s-shaped clasp.
18" long with the lampwork bead laying at 9". $23.

Orange Ice Bracelet

When I saw the orange beads in my shipment of assorted ice flake quartz, I knew they were perfect for my autumn collection. I already posted the first bracelet in my collection, Autumn Copper and Glitter, which inspired the continued use of antiqued copper. To accent the amazing luminescence of the orange stones and add a bit of character I choose filigree rounds surrounded by two smooth beads. The finishing touch was the flower box clasp. 7.5" long. $20.00.

Autumn Copper and Glitter Bracelet

Now that fall is almost upon us, I decided to create some jewelry rich in the colors of autumn. The brown goldstones glitter nicely against the antiqued and ornate copper bead caps. An 8mm copper ladybug marks the center of capped beads. The finishing touch is a copper toggle clasp embellished with a twisting rope design. 6 3/4" long.

Tribal Bracelet

When I first held the long, red beads in my hand, I envisioned an ancient woman in leopard skin attire who was strong and courageous. I could see this bracelet around her wrist as a charm to bring good luck in the hunt.

I added blue beads to accent the hint of shimmering blue in the red stick beads. It is 7.5" long and for sale at www.attorneyangelalund.etsy.com for $25
