January Blog Tour

I was very excited to see that my one of my pieces was featured in the blog tour this month.

The comment on my piece: "I really like the simple design that Angela Lund-Logan (above) shares with us this month. The bright chartreuse green of the persimmons is what drew her attention and I like the shape of the necklace to let those art beads speak loudly."

January ABS - Persimmons

I have another submission to the January ABS challenge.  The beads are by Odd Designs NC (odddesignsnc.etsy.com).  I handmade the earwires and headpins.  I love using my torch to create the balls on the end of the wire.

January ABS - Lime Corona

My submission for the January Art Bead Scene Blog challenge is Lime Corona.

I used copper chain accented by green. The green fruit (Japanese persimmons) in the inspiration piece drew my attention immediately.  Probably because green is my favorite color and I adore this shade.


All  of the green beads were purchased at the Milwaukee Bead & Button show.  The clasp is from Odddesignnc (etsy.com).  The connectors are from Earthenwood studios.
