January ABS - Lime Corona

My submission for the January Art Bead Scene Blog challenge is Lime Corona.
I used copper chain accented by green. The green fruit (Japanese persimmons) in the inspiration piece drew my attention immediately.  Probably because green is my favorite color and I adore this shade.

All  of the green beads were purchased at the Milwaukee Bead & Button show.  The clasp is from Odddesignnc (etsy.com).  The connectors are from Earthenwood studios.

 Inspiration piece:
Black Peacocks with Japanese Persimmons

  1. Hi there, this was such a fun challenge this month wasnt it. Love peacocks and all the colors in the painting. So many fun creations and I love yours. This is really pretty. They are prefect beads for this. How fun. Oh how I wish bead shows were close to me. :).. I guess until I find one close Ill have to keep on making them out of clay. Looking forward to see what you make this month. Happy Creating, Kimi from www.Kimisjewelryandgifts.blogspot.com

  2. Thank you for your kind words. It was a fun challenge. I love green especially the shade from my piece and the earrings.

I wish I could make the art beads. Not something I am going to start on as I have too much fun playing with my torch. I spent 7 days at the Bead & Button show last year taking classes.

I look forward to your piece this month. Hope inspiration comes easily.
